The outmost layer of the rice grain is rice husk, it is also known as rice hull. Rice husk is detached from the brown rice in the rice milling. Rice husk ash (RHA) can be produced by burning rice husk, if the combustion process is incomplete carbonized rice hull (CRH) is produced.
About 20% of rice weight is rice husk. In 2008, global rice production was 600 million tons and therefore 130 million tons of rice hulls were also produced. While there are some usages of rice husk is still often regarded as a waste product in the rice mill, so often either burned or thrown open on vacant land. Shell has a high caloric value and therefore can be used as a renewable fuel. Rice husk is produced as the first step in the process of milling, when the skin is removed in the form of grain shelling stage of rice plant.

Pest control
Pests like rats and mice can damage computers and expensive machinery which costs thousands of dollars in factories. There are many types of products available in the market today to control or eliminate the pests in your home or office.
Even after pest control services have been used, pests may enter the home through crevices. In such cases rubber gaskets and similar products may be used to block these entry points. If the rice purchased is not used for a long time, it may also attract pests. Many of the products available in the market today contain chemicals which may be effective in the short term, but ruin your health in the long term. So buyers should try to buy eco friendly pest control products which are effective over a period of time.
